Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end automated test cases using Cypress for web-based applications.
• Integrate Cypress tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
• Maintain and enhance existing test frameworks and utilities.
• Perform root cause analysis of test failures and work with teams to resolve issues.
• Ensure test coverage for functional, regression, and UI testing.
• Document test plans, test cases, and test results.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on front-end automation.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Cypress and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, REST APIs).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with other test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright).
• Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
• Familiarity with accessibility testing and performance testing tools.
• Experience working in a microservices or cloud-native environment.

• Exposure to Comcast platforms or similar large-scale consumer-facing applications.
