Wordibly Seeks Part-Time Remote Proofreaders!

Are you looking for a great way to earn some supplemental income? Are you looking for a flexible schedule? Do you enjoy detailed work? If you said yes to any of these, then we need to talk to you!

You'll choose your own schedule from a block of available hours, working around your other responsibilities.

Hours of Work:

The candidate must be able to provide a minimum of 20 hours of availability (must include one weekend shift), within the following days/hours:

• Wednesday through Sunday with availability between the hours of 8:00am and 8:00pm EST(4 hour shifts).

Responsibilities and Duties

• Proofread, edit, and quality check Microsoft Word document transcripts for accuracy
• Accurately transcribe audio and video recordings.
• Ensure transcripts meet quality standards and adhere to formatting guidelines.
• Effectively manage deadlines and prioritize tasks.
• Maintain open communication with team members regarding project details.

Qualifications and Skills

• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel
• Strong attention to detail
• Mastery of the English language, including both punctuation and grammar rules (Spanish proficiency preferred as well)
• A self-motivated, proactive, "can-do" attitude
• The ability to work independently
• Must have a working computer with high-speed Internet access to work from home, as needed
• Associate degree preferred; work experience may be considered in lieu of degree
