A DAY IN THE LIFE
In this position you'll use your transferrable mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and experience to perform scheduled service, fault analysis/troubleshooting, and potential main component or blade work on wind turbines. During a typical day, you will work at heights and in confined spaces, while being exposed to the elements of weather. At this site, you will typically have shifts 5 days a week at 8-10 hours a day with "built-in" overtime. The team here normally works in teams of 2-3 and typically will climb 1-2 turbines a day. You also will have an on-call rotation schedule for off-work hours (weekends) every month. The team here is tenured and eager to encourage your training, development, and growth within Vestas Service!

✓ You will need a safety-focused mindset
✓ Your positive attitude will contribute to your ability to work in a team environment, while being motivated and taking initiative in daily tasks
✓ You can identify solutions to issues with process of elimination
✓ You will bring at least a year of wind experience or 2 or more years of experience in an applicable background, including mechanical, hydraulic, electrical troubleshooting, or agricultural maintenance experience; rotational mechanics preferred
