Job Description

Job purpose

The position of Beverage Sales Manager serves to plan and implement

sales and product development programs targeted toward existing and future

sales, with emphasis on wholesale wine and beverage sales. Support for

community events may be part of the responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

Qualifications include:

• 3-5 years in outside sales, required; 1-5 years' experience in food/beverage sales, preferred\\ Bachelor’s degree in Business or experience in a small business, Hospitality Management or related field preferred; experience will be considered
• Proven track record of sales performance, especially in developing new markets
• Experienced setting sales goals and developing and managing budgets
• Exceptional people skills including the ability to network and socialize with potential and current clients
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks & projects
• Strong oral and written communications skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Roles and Responsibilities

Sales:

• Identify and be the point of contact for new and existing wholesale clients
• Achieve Company sales goals and objectives
• Follow industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential sales
• Monitor competitor products, sales and marketing activities and make recommendations to maintain product offerings at or above competitor’s offerings
• Help expand current product offerings into new markets or locations
• Provide input on enhancements that better meet customer needs
• Maintain an open line of communication across all departments

General:

•   Represent Folino Estate in various events and exhibitions
• Provide high quality service to all clients
• Attend all department meetings as needed
• Develop relationships with external customers to strengthen and expand customer base for sales opportunities
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to make deliveries in personal vehicle

Administrative:

•   Maintain a report of sales by established key performance indicators
• Provide monthly summary reports on leads and assigned performance indicators
• Provide a quarterly competitive review of the assigned territory
• Complete expense reports, sales reports, and other paperwork requirements in a timely manner
• Assist in maintaining Operations Manual
