Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced  Web Designer / SharePoint Developer to support the design, development, and deployment of SharePoint (Microsoft 365) solutions in a secure government environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development and a deep understanding of cybersecurity, privacy, and government compliance requirements.

JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for designing and building SharePoint (Microsoft 365) sites using a variety of graphics software applications, techniques and tools.
• Designs and develops user interfaces, site animation, and special effects elements.
• Designs the SharePoint site to support the organization's strategies and goals relative to the government's requirements.
• Analyzes customer needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within designated timeframe.
• Conducts customer testing of newly designed software sites for proper functionality.
• Develop software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation.
• Requires knowledge of cybersecurity, privacy principles, computer networking concepts, protocols, network security methodologies, risk management framework, software related information technology security principles and methods.
• Skilled in conducting software debugging.
• Knowledge of the capabilities and functionality associated with content creation technologies (wikis, social networking, content management systems, blogs).
• Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with others.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:  

• MS/MA in Computer Science degree with concentration in web development and 10 years’ experience or BA/BS in Computer Science degree with concentration in web development and 12 years’ experience.
• Must have one of the following valid security related certifications: SecurityX / CASP+, CCNP Security, CCSP, Cloud+, FITSP-O, GFACT, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, SSCP.
• Must have one of the following valid role-based certifications: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, Power BI Data Analyst Associate Power Platform Fundamentals Azure Data Scientist Associate Azure AI Engineer Associate AI Engineer Associate (365) Power Platform App Maker Associate Power Automate RPA Developer Associate Teams Application Developer Associate Azure Data Engineer Associate Azure Developer Associate Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate
