We are looking for a skilled Warehouse Lead to oversee the distribution center needs for a Milwaukee manufacturer. The 2nd Shift Lead will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping products as well as the personnel needs for 2 associates.
You will be in charge of coordinating with other departments to ensure that deadlines are met and customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. You will also be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy and implementing efficient warehouse processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage the daily operations of the distribution warehouse.
2. Coordinate receiving, storing, and shipping of products.
3. Ensure inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits.
4. Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes to increase productivity.
5. Collaborate with other departments to meet deadlines and fulfill customer orders.
6. Train and supervise warehouse staff to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
MUST have CROWN Forklift experiences to apply
- Previous experience in warehouse management or a similar role.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management systems.
- Leadership skills to motivate and manage a team.
