Job Description

Kocourek Ford is looking for a Vehicle Title Specialist. The Vehicle Title Specialist will be responsible for managing all aspects of vehicle title and registration paperwork. This includes ensuring that all documentation is completed correctly and in a timely manner, working with state agencies, and assisting customers with title-related questions. Responsibilities but not limited to the following: * Process and prepare vehicle titles and registration paperwork for both new and used vehicles. * Verify accuracy of all vehicle documents, including sales contracts and title transfers. * Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding title processing. * Maintain an organized system for tracking titles and registration documents. * Assist customers in understanding and completing title-related paperwork. * Work closely with the sales and finance teams to ensure smooth transactions. * Handle title and registration issues and resolve any discrepancies. * Communicate with state agencies and title companies as necessary. * Provide administrative support to the dealership’s finance department. * Record Retention – ensures various dealership documents and records are scanned into document management software * Process and distribute all paperwork on each retail deal along with preparing all contracts for funding and send to proper lending institutions. * Deal Paperwork Compliance Other Duties * Maintain a clean and organized office environment * Other duties as assigned by Accounting Manager Performance Measurement/Expectations * Adhere to schedules and deadlines * Thoroughness, accuracy and timeliness in completing essential duties * Shares Kocourek’s Core Values * Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency

QUALIFICATIONS

Must have excellent organizational skills along with clear written and oral communication skills. Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft programs. Ability to navigate around computer programs with efficiency. Physical Demand While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk or hear. The team member frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products or supplies, up to 20 pounds. Work Environment Typical non-smoking office environment. Position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, filing cabinets and fax machines.
