Job Summary:
This role will be responsible for the preparation and cleanup of the construction equipment and the grounds or “yard” and assisting with the loading, unloading, and securing loads for customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Equipment Preparation
- Utilize the pressure washing equipment in the wash bay to clean returned rental equipment.
- Prepare the equipment: fueling, cleanup, and ensure proper supplies, tools, etc.
- Perform visual assessments of equipment to identify any issues or damage.
- Proactively report any equipment problems, shortages, or unsafe conditions.
- Perform minor maintenance services on equipment when directed to do so.
- Greasing, Fluid Top Offs, etc.
- Grounds Maintenance
- Clean up the wash bay at the end of each day, ensure everything is returned to its proper place, supplies stocked, etc.
- Maintain the grounds or “yard” and facilities as business needs require.
- Lawncare, Trash, Plowing, etc.
- Ensure the yard is safe. Organized, clean, and meets company standards.
- Loading and Unloading
- Load and unload equipment and supplies
- Assist with preparation of equipment that is being rented
- Receive equipment and supplies while ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and delivered to the appropriate department.
- Operate company equipment safely and by all company, state, and federal rules and regulations if required.
- Support
- Assist Rental, Parts, and Service Departments when instructed to do so.
- Greets customers in yard, helping direct or assist them.
- Assists drivers in loading and unloading equipment or attachments.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Ability to work as a team
- Ability to work in all types of weather
