Job Description

Job Title: User Acceptance Tester
Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid – 2 days onsite per week)

Duration: 12 Months

Position Summary:
We are seeking experienced User Acceptance Testers to support the implementation of key technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business requirements and the ability to translate them into test scenarios, execute test cases, identify and log defects, and coordinate retesting. A solid background in software development lifecycles, integrations, and quality assurance best practices is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate business requirements into comprehensive test case scenarios and maintain traceability between requirements and tests.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute test plans and scenarios across various functional areas.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to perform end-to-end testing.
  • Log defects with detailed impact assessments and participate in triage meetings to ensure timely resolution and retesting.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, subject matter experts, and third-party vendors to support implementation, issue resolution, and testing.
  • Work closely with the QA Manager and implementation leads to identify testing risks and mitigate them proactively.
  • Assist in the development of test plans to ensure complete coverage and on-time execution.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing and user acceptance testing.
  • Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience working with software integrations and system implementations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, Excel, Visio, and ticketing tools (e.g., JIRA).
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in local, state, or federal government environments.
  • Familiarity with State-Based Marketplaces (SBMs) is a plus.
