Jovie Nannies and Sitters is seeking a part-time nanny for a wonderful family in Edmond, OK. This is a perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys creating a fun and stimulating environment for a young child!

About the Family:

This warm and inviting family is looking for a kind and reliable nanny to join their team. They have a delightful 2-year-old who is full of energy and curiosity. Mom is a SAHM, and wouldn't you love to give her a break from her 24/7 job? You'll be helping the whole family by helping her recharge. 

About the Role:

In this role, you'll be more than just a caregiver – you'll be a playmate and role model! You'll be responsible for creating a fun and engaging atmosphere for the child, which may include:

 

• Playing games, singing songs, and reading stories
• Helping with light meal prep and cleanup
• Taking the child on outings (weather permitting)
• Encouraging creativity and exploration
• Maintaining a safe and clean environment

The Ideal Candidate:

 

• 2 years' experience caring for young children (toddler experience is preferred)
• Enjoys age-appropriate activities like singing, reading, and playing games (especially in the category of dinosaurs and construction site imaginary play!)
• Has a positive and patient demeanor
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable transportation and a clean driving record, along with a valid DL and car insurance
• Has 3 childcare references
• CPR and FA certified
