Mr. Excavator is a family owned and operated excavating contractor headquartered in Kirtland, Ohio, with a regional office in Columbus, Ohio. Mr. Excavator is adept at handling all facets of site development and roadwork. We self-perform site demolition, site clearing, mass excavation and utility installations. Mr. Excavator services the commercial, education, healthcare, energy and industrial sectors throughout Ohio and Western Pennsylvania.

Job Description:

We are currently seeking an Employee Training and Development Specialist - Internal Systems. The Employee Training and Development Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing training programs that support organizational goals and employee career development. This role is integral in ensuring that all employees possess the skills and knowledge of internal systems needed to perform their roles effectively and grow within the company. The specialist will work closely with management to identify training needs, deliver training sessions, and evaluate program effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understanding internal systems and processes (Smartsheet)
• Training existing employees on newly developed systems
• Training new employees on existing systems and processes
• Gathering feedback from employees to enhance systems and processes
• Designing, distributing, and analyzing data from program evaluation processes

Qualifications:

• Ability to develop training material for internal systems
• Strong organizational and change management skills
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Smartsheet experience preferred but not required
