Pay Rate :

$40,300 - $53,700

Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range.

The Job You Will Perform:

• Coordinate inbound/outbound finished product shipments from the Riverdale Mill and offsite warehouses to customers.
• Support team concept of mill traffic by working closely with corporate Distribution & Transportation to reduce freight cost.
• Assist with the shipment planning function to provide excellent customer service. 
• Maintain records for the traffic function and inbound/outbound raw materials in coordination with purchasing. 
• Facilitate department goal for cross-training by actively learning departmental job duties.
• Assure that audit points are satisfied and seek to implement cost savings changes.

• Instill safety as a core value within the team and effectively communicate a shared vision for safety
• Quickly develop thorough knowledge of mill equipment and systems
• Utilize excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate to groups and individuals at all levels
• Approach positional responsibilities in an inclusive manner by engaging all team members in area, department, and mill
• Utilize strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks effectively

 

The Skills You Will Bring:

• Must have a high school diploma or GED
• Three years’ experience in secretarial, bookkeeping, or administrative field. 
• Experience in an industrial or manufacturing shipping and logistics environment. 
• Candidate must be willing and able to work rotating shift work, holidays, and weekends. 
• Be able to demonstrate proficiency with computer, including Microsoft Word and Excel; SAP Logistics system
• Skills of basic math, add, subtract, multiply, divide, decimals and fractions.
