Tile Setter Foreman

Position Overview

As a Tile Setter Foreman , you will play a hands-on leadership role in overseeing job site operations while actively participating in the tile installation process. This position requires a balance of technical expertise and team management to ensure projects are completed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. The ideal candidate is an experienced tile setter with exceptional organizational and leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Tile Installation: Actively work alongside your team to install tile materials, including cutting, shaping, and laying tiles according to project specifications.
  
• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor team members, ensuring they perform their duties safely and efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
  
• Project Oversight: Assess job sites, identify potential challenges, and implement solutions to ensure projects stay on schedule and within scope.
  
• Surface Preparation: Oversee and assist with cleaning, leveling, and preparing surfaces for tile installation.
  
• Quality Assurance: Inspect completed work to ensure it meets or exceeds client expectations and company standards.
  
• Training and Development: Provide hands-on training to new employees and support their growth within the team.
  
• Client Collaboration: Communicate with clients and project managers to ensure alignment on project goals and expectations.
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a tile setter and foreman.
  
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  
• Proficiency with hand and power tools used in tile installation.
  
• In-depth knowledge of tile installation techniques and materials.
  
• Physical capability to stand, kneel, and work on knees for extended periods.
  
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  
• Flexibility to work 8–10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with occasional adjustments as needed.
