The Lead Thermal Management Engineer will lead teams of engineers in the development of integrated thermal solutions for wheeled and tracked vehicle platforms.

In this role the candidate will be required to:
  • Work with suppliers towards the development of the subsystems and components for propulsion and cabin thermal management systems and solutions.
  • Identify subsystem and component requirements, provide direction to analysis teams, and interpret analysis results
  • Coordinate analysis of components and subsystems
  • Actively support new product development teams in defining feasible concept solutions
  • Development of cost & schedule artifacts for program planning and execution
  • Create test plans and actively lead or guide subsystem level testing
  • Prepare and present information to the IPT on progress and design solutions
  • Direct and oversee CAD model development and drawing release
  • Address cost, reliability maintainability, safety, human factors in the development of design
  • Handle programs on a very tight schedule, and budget with complexity
  • Assure customer expectations are met or exceeded
Position Requirements:
  • Must have a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant Engineering Discipline. Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of thermal management engineering experience in related vehicle environments
  • Established knowledge in thermal management of propulsion systems and cabin environments.
  • Excellent analytical skills to appropriately size subsystems and components.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently.
  • Collaborative mindset and able to thrive in a team environment with a demonstrated ability to lead others
  • Experience in CAD and Advanced simulation tools such as NX, Creo and Matlab-Simulink
  • Experience creating cabin heating, ventilation, and heating systems with crew comfort in mind.
  • Proven skills in the development of technical documents and oral communication
  • Primary office work with Occasional travel to test locations
  • Experience with TeamCenter required.
  • Must be a US Person
