JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.
- Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.
- Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
- Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
- Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed;
- Prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must have the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
- Associates of Engineering or applicable Associates Science Degree OR
- Airframe Power plant Cert OR
- 4 years of relevant work experience
- Previous experience in Fabrication role
- A completed and passed eye examination is required for this role.
- Should be comfortable fabricating complex electronics with small tolerances and Quality Inspection throughout the fabrication process. .
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Preferred IPC-A-610 and IPC J-STD-001 Certifications
- Preferred experience with Military Specification parts and ability to reference all required tooling for class 3 Electronics Fabrication.
- Preferred experience with J-STD-001 or IPC 620 certification
- Experience with Hand Held Multimeter, Oscilloscope, Bench top power supplies and/or Hand crimping tool
