Job Description
Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Business Analyst with our client in the financial industry located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12 + month contract position.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for business and data analysis in the Global Financial Crimes environment
- Work effectively in a fully mature agile team
- Work closely with business partners in defining requirements and ensuring acceptance criteria are met for application changes
Requirements: - BS/MS in Computer
- 10+ years of experience in a BA role
- Background in enterprise stress testing
- Working knowledge of any RDBMS database, Teradata and any development experience
- Knowledge of SQL and database technologies
- Knowledge and/or experience working within Teradata, Hadoop or other big data distributed ecosystem
- Good knowledge of databases and querying tools
- Able to partner with the multiple Technology and business teams to drive the requirements gathering
- Strong verbal and Written communication skills
- Good analytical and critical thinking skills
- Creative with a track record of being resourceful and adaptive working as a team to address roadblocks and challenges
- Good problem-solving skills
- Well versed with agile methodology and processes
Desired skills: - Degree from outstanding university
Pay Range: $46.18 - $54.18
