As a Sector/Specialty/Platform Practice Director, you’ll serve as a strategic advisor to the Sector/Specialty/Platform leader. You will serve as a point of contact for the Sector/Specialty/Platform on practice management issues, in alignment with strategy.

- Contributing to developing and implementing the strategic plan for the Sector/Specialty/Platform, inclusive of partnering with the other segment & across Sector/Specialty/Platforms;
- Developing goals and scope of operational/implementation plans and following up on completion of key initiatives;
- Championing activation of One Firm levers, working with Practice teams to drive adoption;
- Working closely with Finance & Human Capital teams, other functional areas and other PDs, while working to ensure consistent execution across the Sector/Specialty/Platform;
- Keeping internal initiatives moving/on track, offering suggestions for improvements, as needed and taking action to achieve desired outcomes;
- Teaming with Change & Communications (and Market-Facing focused PD) on executing proposed communication cadence for Partner/MDs and staff communications, including webcasts, connectivity, and internal channels;
- Building relationships & anticipating the needs & expectations of the business;
- Interpreting, filtering and prioritizing requests & issues coming to the attention of the Sector/Specialty/Platform leaders;
- Exercising independent discretion, confidentiality & judgment given the nature of the responsibilities;
- Being a critical thinker with keen analytical skills that lead to practical solutions to drive desired outcomes against key business priorities;
- Demonstrating time management organizational skills & ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
- Managing projects to timely completion, while keeping stakeholders informed;
