Overview :

Join the team as a Tax Preparer in sunny San Diego! We’re seeking motivated individuals with a passion for tax preparation and a commitment to excellent customer service. In this role, you will assist clients in preparing and filing their personal tax returns accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review individual personal tax returns in compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Collect and analyze financial information from clients, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding their tax filings.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to offer informed guidance to clients.
• Help clients understand their tax situations, including potential deductions and credits available to them.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information in accordance with company policies and regulations.

Qualifications :

• Must have a valid CTEC (California Tax Education Council) registration.
• Previous experience preparing personal tax returns is required.
• Strong understanding of tax principles and regulations.
• Proficient in tax software (experience with [specific software] a plus).
• Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
