Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage multiple client tax engagements, delivering accurate and timely results.
• Prepare and review complex federal and state tax returns for individuals, businesses, and trusts.
• Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities and identify savings opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with IRS and state regulations while managing risk.
• Represent clients in IRS and state audits, providing expert guidance and resolution strategies.
• Supervise, mentor, and train junior tax staff to support professional growth and performance excellence.
• Maintain and enhance tax policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Monitor changes in tax laws and industry trends to keep clients informed and compliant.

Qualifications:

• Active CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or EA (Enrolled Agent) designation required.
• Proven experience preparing, reviewing, and filing complex tax returns and extensions.
• Strong background in representing clients before the IRS and state tax authorities.
• Prior experience in a public accounting firm is required.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and client relationship management skills.
