Entry-Level Tax Accountant

Location: Tallahassee, FL (On-site)

Our client, a reputable public accounting firm in Tallahassee, is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Entry-Level Tax Accountant to join their team. This role offers a unique opportunity to grow in a supportive environment that values professional development. Candidates should have at least 1 year of experience preparing tax returns for individuals and businesses.

Tax Accountant Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Prepare income tax returns for individuals and small businesses.
• Update and organize financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Stay current on tax regulations and industry developments to provide the best service to clients.
• Gain hands-on experience and deepen your knowledge in tax preparation.
• Preferably 1+ years of experience, including internships, in public accounting.
• A strong interest in obtaining CPA licensure in Florida (this role is designed for long-term growth, not seasonal work).
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines effectively.
• Self-motivated, proactive, with strong communication skills and an eagerness to learn.
