Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Tax Accountant and Bookkeeper to join our team, focusing on Federal and State tax compliance, including tax preparation and bookkeeping. This role requires a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in tax and bookkeeping work.

We offer a variety of services, including consulting on Federal & State taxes, insurance, investments, real estate, financial planning, and other related areas.

Salary:
$24.00 - $30.00 per hour, based on experience and skill level

Qualifications:
Education:

Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Accounting

License/Certifications:

QuickBooks certified or proficient
Responsibilities & Skills:
Tax Preparation: Handle tax preparation from start to finish for C-Corp, S-Corp, partnerships, trusts, and individual returns
Software Skills: Proficient with tax preparation software (Lacerte preferred but not required), Adobe, Excel, and QuickBooks
Bookkeeping: Perform full-charge bookkeeping duties
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills
Time Management: Excellent organizational and time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks
