Job Title: Tax Accountant / Bookkeeper (Federal and State Compliance)
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Location: In-office (Remote options available)
Salary: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour (commensurate with experience and skill level)

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Tax Accountant / Bookkeeper to support federal and state tax compliance efforts, including tax preparation and bookkeeping. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with 2-3 years of relevant experience looking to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.

### Office Hours:
Monday through Friday

### Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Accounting
- Licenses/Certifications: QuickBooks certified or proficient

### Responsibilities:
- Prepare federal and state tax returns for a variety of entities, including C-Corps, S-Corps, partnerships, trusts, and individuals
- Provide full-charge bookkeeping services
- Utilize tax preparation software (Lacerte preferred, but not required), as well as Adobe, Excel, and QuickBooks
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to efficiently manage workloads and deadlines
- Communicate clearly and effectively with clients and team members

### Skills:
- Strong proficiency in tax preparation and bookkeeping
- Solid understanding of tax regulations and compliance
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
