- Worksite Location: Roseville, MN (Onsite)
- Compensation: $30.00-$55.00 per hour
The posted salary range represents the standard compensation for this position; however, we are open to offering a higher salary for candidates with extensive experience that exceed the minimum requirements for the role. Systems Support Technician Job Description: The position supports the development of the Production (Manufacturing and Packaging) activities, and identifies, evaluates, implements, and supports automation solution and information systems to meet business objectives. The role undertakes providing technical expertise with a focus on Compliance and Performance. The role also represents the Production unit by liaising with internal and external Key IS Stakeholders: Global IT, SMP IS management, SMP QA, SMP P3E teams.
What you’ll do as the Systems Support Technician - Serve as a representative for production information system with a focus on process and system alignment
- Update, maintain and develop MES and ThingWorx platforms
- Act as a system analyst, Manufacturing Key User, and Local Administrator
- Assure that systems are properly used by users
- Centralize, log, incidents, problems to Global IT
- Perform required testing and validation for change management together with Global IT, Global QA, Local QA, Local P3E
- Provide new ideas and log enhancement request to optimize system use and better fit with end users’ requirements
- Write and update SOPs related to the system administration
- Develop and qualify new MES e-procedures
What you’ll bring to the Systems Support Technician role: - Hands-on experience in systems configuration of manufacturing equipment setup
- Experience working in GMP-regulated or FDA-compliant environments (e.g., biomedical, pharmaceutical, or medical device industries)
- Familiarity with configuring and troubleshooting labeling systems (Zebra), barcode scanners, and other manufacturing systems
- Ability to execute system configuration protocols for handhelds, tablets, mobile devices, and connected lab equipment
- Comfortable performing firmware updates, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and supporting device-level IT infrastructure
- Knowledge of IQ/OQ protocols, system access controls, and production/lab equipment validation
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interface across IT, manufacturing, QA, and engineering teams
