We are looking for multiple experienced Sushi Chef to join our busy establishment.

Sushi Chef
Requirements:
• 2 years minimum of New York restaurant experience/Sushi Chef experience
• Have a strong skill for butchering multiple different fish and shellfish, preparing sushi rice, strong essential
ingredients related to sushi service.• Maintaining product quality & Developing new sushi items in trend.
• Must have knowledge of Japanese cooking technique (knife skills) and traditional ingredients
• Able to maintain great attention to detail in a fast paced environment
• Maintaining all sushi bar station work areas, to remain clean and organized at all times
• This individual must be consistent under pressure
• Communicating with wait staff to ensure special requests and food allergy considerations are met.
• Educating Staff on Japanese ingredients ,products & cuisine
• New York City Food Handler’s Certification preferred
• Must have open availability & be available to work weekends and holidays
