State-Tested Nurse Aide (STNA) Job Description

STNA Requirements:

Must have the following:

• Ohio Valid STNA License
• Unexpired CPR certification
• Covid-19 test
• BCI checks if completed
• TB test record completed
• Physical completed
• Covid Vaccination card or an exemption form

Profession Description:

• Assist the patient with activities of daily living
• Responsible for taking the vital signs of the residents, as well as other direct patient care
• Travel to patient/organization locations assigned to support patient well-being.
• Collaborate the patient care to interdisciplinary teams in the organization.
• Must always be clean and dressed appropriately with a photo ID badge.
• Responsible for documentation in both patients and organizations.
• Communicate and identify patient needs and problems to the shift supervisor.
