We are seeking a Sr. Research Assistan t to join our team in the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine. The position is crucial for the success of ongoing and upcoming clinical research projects and will work in collaboration with the Principal Investigator, project leadership, Project Manager, and other study coordinators to organize and conduct research. The major focus of the Sr. Research Assistant is supporting the ACTFAST program: Adopting Comprehensive Training for Firearm Safety in Trauma Centers at both the Johns Hopkins Hospital and the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. This program will unite multiple professional teams and community groups to provide comprehensive clinician education to set a national standard for supporting the trauma-informed promotion of firearm safety in the inpatient setting.
The Sr. Research Assistant will be responsible for maintaining organized study records, carry out study-related activities, and will communicate regularly with the PI and study team. This position will play a vital role in the recruitment and enrollment of Spanish-speaking participants. This Sr. Research Assistant may also participate in data analysis, writing and submitting manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals, and submitting and presenting work for national and international conferences.
