Job Title: Senior Media Strategist

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Media Strategist to join our team. In this role, you will support national media strategy for all brand marketing campaigns and oversee media agency activities. Your key responsibilities will include developing and executing media strategies that enhance brand visibility, drive customer engagement, and ensure a solid return on investment in media campaigns.

As a Senior Media Strategist, you will bring extensive experience in media planning and strategy, strong analytical skills, and a creative approach to produce effective marketing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead media strategy across all media channels including TV, Paid Digital, OTT, Radio & Audio Streaming, OOH, and more.
Translate brand and marketing business goals into strategic media plans and tactics.
Determine the appropriate channel mix for national media campaigns based on data and media trends.
Use industry planning tools and data for audience identification, analysis, and scenario planning that align with brand marketing strategies and objectives.
Partner with media agencies and oversee their media activities.
Collaborate closely with the internal Digital Media team to ensure digital brand campaigns are crafted and delivered in line with brand plans.
Provide ongoing, data-driven media campaign optimization recommendations to adapt to new or evolving business needs.
Optimize ad campaigns based on geographic exposure, frequency, time spans, etc.
Analyze data to evaluate the success of media campaigns and strategies, and create necessary reports.
Evaluate existing and emerging media trends and opportunities, providing recommendations and points of view.
Partner successfully with cross-functional teams to integrate media and communications plans.
Monitor budgets and report on forecasts and actuals.

Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's degree required

Experience:

10+ years of strategic media planning experience with an advanced understanding of all media vehicles and channels.
Experience leveraging industry-standard media planning tools and data sets to create data-driven media plans and optimizations.
Strong analytical background with the ability to triangulate between data, brand goals, and opportunities.
Experience with campaign evaluation metrics and media buying.

Skills:

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple stakeholders and priorities.
Data-driven curiosity and willingness to lead change when required.
Strong communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

General office environment requiring the ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
Ability to speak and listen to others in person, over the phone, and via video conferencing.
Use of keyboard and reading from computer screens and reports.
Ability to lift up to 15 lbs.

Compensation and Benefits:

The anticipated salary range for this position is $108,100 - $162,000, depending on location, knowledge, skills, education, and experience. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. We offer comprehensive and competitive benefits to employees and their families, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability. Eligible employees can enroll in our company's 401(k) plan. Employees will accrue paid time off up to 236 hours per year (inclusive of PTO, floating holidays, and paid holidays), and up to 80 hours of paid sick time per year unless otherwise required by law.
