Job Title: Sr. Business Application Analyst

Location: 100% Remote

Duration : 6 month plus extension

Overview:

Our client, a growing national mortgage origination and servicing company, is seeking hire multiple Sr. Business Analyst to support a back office modernization initiative. This is an exciting opportunity to join and innovative organization!

This position is 100% remote and starting with a 6 month engagement. Opportunity to extend!

Job Summary:

The Senior Business Application Analysts will join a brand new initiative to overhaul the organization's Servicing Backoffice workflow. These candidates will be responsible for delivering the business requirements in conjunction with several SMEs from the Servicing BU, as they identify the right use cases to implement as part of the backoffice workflow.

Responsibilities:

• Establish yourself as the subject matter expert for the assigned application and product.
• Formulates, organizes, and monitors inter-connected projects in relation document automation.
• Represents the departments voice in providing priorities for accuracy improvement.
• Act as a liaison between client groups, technology, and production application support.
• Provide production and business support and problem resolution for assigned application.
• Must have the ability to effectively work in a team environment and independently.
• Must be able to connect with the program Technology Lead and Solution architect.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Develops and controls deadlines and activities in relation to the overall business strategy.
• Applies change, risk, and resource management as program develops.
• Analyze large sets of documents and create new and enhance various algorithmic approaches to extract information from document with high level of accuracy.
• Strong research and problem-solving skills
• Strong workflow and prototype development skills.
• Entry level experience working with Relational and NO SQL databases.
• Entry level understanding of data science fundamentals: NLP, Information extraction, Reinforcement
• Entry level experience with performing data analytics
• Assesses program performance and aims to maximize accuracy and effectiveness.
• Creates, configures, and maintains high level reporting to showcase the programs efficiencies/deficiencies with viable solutions.
• Facilitate and generate reports based on analysis, to show trends and common themes, at an executive level.
• Quickly adapts to change and takes proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, remain calm in stressful situations, be flexible, work well with many interruptions, and have multi-tasking capabilities.
• Self-motivation with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage change priorities in a high-pressure environment.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Qualifications:

• Strong business and data analysis skills are required, project management preferred.
• Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Products, JIRA, and Confluence

• BS/BA or equivalent
• 5+ years of mortgage servicing experience. Preferably had worked on a major Mortgage Servicing Platform.
• Previous experience of working as a UI designer or API developer / tester will be beneficial.
