A Software Development intern will be working with our manufacturing team to develop software (backend & frontend) that improve our products data traceability and communicates production metrics for our operations team. The work will consist of database development and interactions, building data collection and traceability of our parts within our facility, and creating visualizations to analyze and display data to our operations team. We use primarily Ignition and SQL Server.

Job Purpose A Software Development intern will be working with our manufacturing team to develop software (backend & frontend) that improve our products data traceability and communicates production metrics for our operations team. The work will consist of database development and interactions, building data collection and traceability of our parts within our facility, and creating visualizations to analyze and display data to our operations team. We use primarily Ignition and SQL Server. Key Responsibilities - Develop visualizations for our production floor that help our operations team track and prioritize components
- Improve traceability of components through the automated and manual assembly lines
- Work with operators, team leads, supervisors, and engineers to understand all aspects of an issue and provide solutions that meet the needs of all users
- Create reliable and user-friendly programs that can be used successfully by a large variety of users with varied levels of technical knowledge
What We’re Looking For - Pursuing a degree in data science, computer engineering, computer science, or software engineering
- Familiarity with Python, C++ or Java, & SQL, familiarity with Ignition a plus
- Experienced and capable in using MS Suite tools like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Capable of taking feedback from various sources and developing a ground-up solution that solves production issues
