Small Package Delivery Driver at Las Vegas Warehouse

Duties:

• Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages to customers
• Make sure finish all deliveries within required time (daytime to night)
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
• Communicate with customers with special cases and business address
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks such as checking oil levels and tire pressure
• Teamwork with other drivers in groups for parcels picking-up and make sure amount of parcels matches on the system
• Follow the policies and regulations on taking valid proof of delivery and upload it with corresponding app.

Skills:

• Strong customer service skills to interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner
• Ability to lift boxes packages, up to [15 lbs], on a regular basis
• Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with customers and team members
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Familiarity with route driving and ability to navigate using GPS or maps

Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Employee may perform other related duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the company. Parcels for delivery are considered as small packages, which perfectly fit your own vehicle with at least amount of 100-120 parcels.

You will need your own vehicle to make the deliveries, with valid insurance, and registration. Social security number and Employment Authorization Document is required; for 1099-form independent contractors only.
