Role: SIT (System Integration Testing) Tester

Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly skilled SIT (System Integration Testing) Tester with a strong background in ETL Testing, PL/SQL, and experience working with Databricks and PySpark. The ideal candidate should have substantial on-premise data integration experience and preferably some exposure to cloud migration projects. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can validate data integrity across complex data pipelines and contribute to high-quality enterprise data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive SIT test plans and test cases for data integration and transformation processes.
• Perform ETL testing to validate source-to-target data mappings, data completeness, accuracy, and performance.
• Use PL/SQL for test data creation, test validation, and automation of repetitive tasks.
• Develop and execute data quality and transformation checks using Databricks and PySpark.
• Collaborate with data engineers, developers, and cloud architects to ensure smooth integration and data validation in both on-prem and cloud environments.
• Identify, log, and manage defects; ensure resolution in alignment with business requirements.
• Validate data pipelines and reporting systems after migration from on-prem to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Participate in end-to-end testing cycles, including regression and user acceptance testing.

Required Skills and Experience

• 8+ years of experience in ETL/Data Warehouse Testing.
• 5+ years of experience in in PL/SQL for querying databases and performing test validations.
• 8+ years of experience in Hands-on experience with Databricks and PySpark for large-scale data validation.
• 5+ years of experience in Strong understanding of data integration, data lineage, and data quality principles.
• 3+ years of Proven experience working in on-prem data environments, such as Oracle, SQL Server, or Hadoop-based platforms.
• 4+ years of experience in Exposure to or experience in cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and data migration projects.
• 6+ years of experience in Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• 2+ years of Experience with test automation frameworks or tools is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing tools for data platforms.
• Familiarity with cloud-native tools like Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, or GCP Dataflow.
• ISTQB or other testing certifications are advantageous.
