Sign Installer

Perform installation of all types of high-quality signage and deliver exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities:

• Follow Install Leads direction for planned installations
• Work on help produce signage product for installations.
• Mask, weed and apply vinyl to substrates 
• Must be able to use an X-Acto knife, type measure, ruler, and production tools efficiently.
• Properly load and operate a hot/cold pressure laminator following standard safety precautions.
• Load and cut vinyl on a plotter.
• Operate a vertical panel saw using standard safety procedures.
• Operate a board trimmer, print trimmer, or other finishing equipment.
• Maintain machinery in good working order.
• Apply vehicle and window graphics.
• Installations (indoor and outdoor)
• Complete Signarama in-store training 
• Performs quality assurance measures pre- and post- installation.
• Will also work closely with design and sales for project scope, quotes, and accurate measurements
• Drive and operate a bucket truck for installations

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift and move minimum of 50 lbs
• Able to stand for long periods of time while doing installations
• Able to climb ladders and work on installations
• Requirements
• Prior signage industry experience preferred
• Must be computer knowledgeable and willing to learn to be proficient in various software programs.
• Sufficient formal or informal education to assure the ability to use simple math (adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing whole numbers and fractions, as well as converting fractions to decimals).
• These skills should demonstrate ability to use ruler for measurements
• Prior carpentry or electrical experience a plus
• Ability to proof items installations, therefore strong spelling capability
• Ability to take direction and follow customer requirements
• Quick learner with aptitude to adapt to new concepts
• Strong character and social skills
• Valid Driver’s License
