Converge Signs is looking for a skilled Sign Installer to join our team in Virginia! In this role, you’ll play a vital part in installing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of interior and exterior signs and graphics. • Inspect and maintain, or remove old fences
• Confirm and secure the fencing materials and equipment onto the truck for the work day
• Be present with foreman at jobsite to meet with client and confirm details
• Install wood, picket, vinyl, chain link, and electric fences
• Connect fence posts, lines, and rails
• Install a variety of signs including, but not limited to, LED, illuminated, vinyl, and dimensional signs.
• Operate bucket trucks, lifts, and other equipment to safely install signs at various heights and within OSHA standards.
• Perform maintenance and repair work on existing signs.
• Ensure all installations comply with company standards and local regulations.
• Work collaboratively with the installation team to complete projects efficiently and safely.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, with proper care of tools, equipment, and company vehicles.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.

Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred
• At least 1-year experience in construction, carpentry, or fencing is required
• Physically fit and good hand dexterity required
• Valid driver’s license required
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer satisfaction skills
• Proven experience as a sign installer or in a similar role is highly desirable.
• Experience operating bucket trucks is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and wiring related to sign installations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong physical stamina and the ability and willingness to work at heights.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings, and out-of-town stays as needed.
