Expert Staffing West is seeking an experienced Shipping and Receiving Clerk for a leading manufacture in Moorpark, Ca.
1st Shift: 6:00am - 4:30 M-TH (4-10 Schedule)
Pay: $19/hr. - $22/hr.
2-5 years of experience in warehouse and Shipping/Receiving
Responsibilities:
1. Receive and process incoming orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
2. Prepare shipping documents, including packing slips and bills of lading.
3. Verify and package orders for shipment, ensuring that they are securely and accurately packed.
4. Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
5. Track and update shipment status in the system.
6. Communicate with customers regarding shipment updates and any issues that may arise.
7. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a shipping or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Familiarity with shipping software and systems is a plus.
