General Job Description:
Work in a team environment responsible for incoming and outgoing shipments of manufactured parts. Sort, clean, count, and package items per company and customer requirements. Fill orders from requisitions and assist in the maintenance of inventory, warehousing, and related clerical records.
Authority/Responsibility:
· Required to prepare and package manufactured parts for shipment.
· Responsible for ensuring parts/orders are clean, labeled, and properly packaged according to current standards.
· Maintain accurate records of processed orders.
· Compare identifying information on incoming or outgoing shipments against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
· Operate the forklift to move and prepare pallets throughout the warehouse.
· Maintain finished parts inventory and parts stockroom.
· Deliver and pick up orders locally via company vehicle when needed.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· High school education or equivalent and at least 2 years of related experience.
· Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and be on your feet for majority of the workday.
· Valid driver’s license needed. Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office.
Training and Experience: Shipping/Receiving/Warehouse Experience
