Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Leader to oversee daily operations in our children's retail store. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring daily tasks are met, and maintaining an efficient workflow, serving our customers.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members during shifts to ensure smooth operations.
• Train and develop staff on techniques, customer service skills, and store protocols.
• Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels and replenishing as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with policy
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that arise during service.
• Collaborate with management to implement operational improvements and enhance guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Previous experience or a similar leadership role is preferred.
• Strong cash handling cashier skills
• Familiarity with training development practices to effectively train new employees.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
