Game Changer Brewhouse is seeking an enthusiastic and friendly Server Assistant. We are an upscale sports bar heading into busy season with NFL football coming up. Many of our neighbors come to visit on a regular basis so someone that has a warm and welcoming demeanor will fit in perfectly. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about hospitality, sports, and learning to grow into the next best position. Weekend availability is required. As a Server Assistant you could be scheduled as a food runner, bar back, or floor assistant. 

• Clear tables/bar top of used plates & glassware and re-set according to restaurant standards
• Transport cutlery and plates from dish pit, glassware to bar
• Polish clean cutlery and make roll-ups for table settings
• Stock server station with polished glassware
• Set up and close floor before and after service with the service team
• Deliver food to guests as directed by Expo or run Expo in the event that no Expo is present
• Follow Occupational Safety and Health standards when handling food and beverage
• Attend regularly scheduled training meetings to develop knowledge and skills
• Support service team

Qualifications:

• Similar restaurant service experience or the desire to learn and willingness to be trained
• Proficient in full-service restaurant functions
• Strong communication skills
• Capable of multi-tasking 
• Since of urgency is a must!
• Valid California RBS and ServSafe Food Handler certifications
• Passionate, positive, and approachable
