Vision for this role

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be a talented SEO Specialist who not only excels in search engine optimization strategies but also has a heart for ministry. The ideal candidate understands the digital landscape, thrives on data-driven decisions, and is passionate about helping Kingdom One and other faith based organizations amplify their message online.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Will develop and implement effective SEO strategies to increase organic traffic and search rankings
  
   
• Perform regular keyword research and competitive analysis
  
   
• Optimize website content, landing pages, and blog posts for SEO
  
   
• Conduct SEO audits and provide actionable recommendations
  
   
• Stay up to date with the latest SEO trends and algorithm changes
  
   
• Apply digital strategies that align with Kingdom One’s values and ministry goals

Our Ideal candidate:

Required Skills:

• Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of SEO tools.
• Familiarity with website platforms (WordPress).
• Understanding of basic HTML/CSS and site structure optimization.
• Experience working with or for churches, ministries, or Christian nonprofits is a major plus.
• Has familiarity with site performance metrics (and how to achieve top scores in a WordPress environment.).
• Has familiarity with accessibility best practices in web development & design.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a commitment to serving in a faith-based environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Has proficiency with Javascript, Typescript, or PHP.
• Has proficiency with Github.
• Has proficiency with package managers (npm, composer).
• Has strong proficiency with WordPress Hooks, Filters, Functions.
• Has proficiency with SCSS.
• Is well organized, clean code.
• Is a dedicated team player.
• Has solid ability in both written and verbal communication.
• Has a high degree of independent judgment.
• Is able to solve complex problems.

Salary Range: $30-$36/hour
