Senior Transportation Planner
$117,000-$137,000 per year base salary, plus up to a 20% annual performance-based bonus

The Senior Transportation Planner will play a key role in daily operations and contribute to overall success. This position supports the Technical Studies department and requires strong leadership, communication, and technical expertise in transportation planning.
The ideal candidate has 5-10 years of experience in transportation planning, extensive knowledge of transportation systems and processes, and some leadership experience.
ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership and training to junior associates.
Manage projects, ensuring high-quality technical and written analysis, and adherence to budgets and schedules.
Maintain strong internal and external communications to keep all stakeholders informed.
Conduct cross-functional quality control, reviewing project documents and analyses for accuracy.
Review and evaluate data from various sources, recommending necessary adjustments.
Ensure systems and databases are accurate and actively maintained.
Attend public hearings as needed.
Assist in developing strategies and processes for the Technical Studies department.
Support positive client relationships through effective communication.
Stay updated on industry trends through continuing education.
Bachelor's degree with 5-10 years of relevant experience , or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Proficiency with transportation analysis software such as Synchro, PTV Vistro, Traffix, AutoCAD, ESRI ArcGIS, and/or TransCAD .
Strong Microsoft Office skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
