Senior Tax Accountant
Remote
$90,000 - $110,000
Role Overview: I am seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join my clients team. This is a full-time remote position, ideal for professionals located in the greater Tampa Bay, FL, or Cape Girardeau, MO area. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing tax compliance, preparing and reviewing business and personal tax returns, financial statements, and managing ongoing tax planning throughout the year.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for businesses and individuals
  • Ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns and tax compliance documents
  • Prepare estimated tax payments and support clients with tax planning strategies
  • Analyze and prepare financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting principles
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional service to clients
  • Stay current on tax regulations and apply relevant changes to client accounts
Qualifications:
  • Strong expertise in Tax Compliance and Tax Preparation
  • In-depth knowledge of tax laws, regulations , and accounting principles
  • Experience with financial statement analysis and preparation
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote setting
  • CPA certification or equivalent qualification required
  • Proficiency in tax software and financial analysis tools
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
  • Familiarity with business and tax planning strategies
