Job Description

As a Senior Scrum Master, you will play a pivotal role in driving agile transformation and fostering high-performing teams. You will be responsible for coaching and mentoring Scrum Teams, ensuring adherence to Agile principles and practices, and removing impediments to team success.

Note: This is a 100% remote position. Candidates must be in the USA and authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a servant leader and coach for multiple Scrum Teams, guiding them in self-organization and cross-functionality.
• Facilitate Scrum events (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective) to ensure effective team collaboration and productivity.
• Remove impediments and proactively identify potential risks, working with the team and stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that promotes open communication and continuous improvement.
• Mentor and develop team members in Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to define and refine the product backlog.
• Measure and report on team and project performance, identifying areas for improvement.
• Drive continuous improvement of Agile processes and practices within the organization.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master with a minimum of 8 years in Agile environments.
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks and methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with team members and stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working in a remote environment is preferred.
