Senior Full Stack Shopify Developer

Description:

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Shopify Developer to lead the development and optimization of our expanding portfolio of Shopify sites, including our flagship D2C and B2B platforms. This individual will have ownership over existing and new web projects, mentor team members, and work cross-functionally across departments to deliver scalable, customer-first solutions.

Responsibilities include developing and maintaining custom Shopify themes and applications; building back-end logic; optimizing user experience (UX); managing databases and integrations; maintaining order systems; leading development for a B2B wholesale site and D2C Shopify site; owning technical execution for new business ventures; collaborating with internal stakeholders; leading sprint meetings, assigning development tasks, and monitoring performance; troubleshooting; and staying current with industry trends, tools, and best practices.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Shopify Developer (not just front-end).
Deep expertise in Shopify (Liquid templating language), JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL databases, JSON, and Ruby.
Experience working with APIs, Shopify Plus, and complex plugin integration workflows.
Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
Experience assigning work and leading discussions in sprint or development meetings.
Comfortable interfacing with both business and technical teams.
Nice to have: experience with headless Shopify or custom app development, background in high-growth e-commerce brands, experience with Shopify SEO and performance optimization, prior leadership or mentorship of junior developers.
