Tygart Technology is seeking a
Senior Audio/Visual (A/V) Engineer to support enterprise telecommunications initiatives for a DOJ customer. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience engineering complex A/V systems and providing expert-level support in secure environments. An
active Top Secret clearance is required.
Responsibilities: - Design and engineer advanced audio/visual systems across secure enterprise environments.
- Provide expert-level Tier 4 troubleshooting and support for integrated A/V capabilities across all enterprise enclaves.
- Travel as needed to support installation and troubleshooting of A/V systems.
Required Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience engineering complex A/V solutions.
- At least five (5) years of experience providing expert-level Tier 4 troubleshooting support.
- In-depth knowledge and practical experience designing and integrating A/V infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with technologies and solutions including:
- Crestron control systems Cisco networking Dante audio networking A/V switches
Preferred Qualifications: - Crestron certifications CTS, CTS-I, or CTS-D certifications
Additional Requirements: - Willingness and ability to travel for on-site installation and troubleshooting.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively. Strong organizational and documentation skills.
