Role Overview

As a Senior Mechanic (IA) , you will be a pivotal member of the maintenance team, ensuring the safety, reliability, and compliance of customer aircraft. In this role, you will oversee maintenance operations, supervise a skilled team, and contribute to the development of department policies. Reporting to the Director of Maintenance, you will champion the highest standards of quality and safety in all maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure safe maintenance practices and aircraft movement operations.
• Supervise maintenance personnel and provide training to support their development.
• Conduct and oversee aircraft, engine, and avionics maintenance repairs.
• Develop and implement department policies and maintenance safety rules.
• Establish and maintain records as required by FAA regulations.
• Manage spare parts inventory and ground support equipment.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with flight operations.
• Ensure compliance with Minimum Equipment List (MEL) procedures.
• Maintain the aviation hangar and office facilities.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an aircraft mechanic.
• Valid Airframe and Powerplant certification with Inspection Authorization (IA) .
• In-depth knowledge of technical data, FAA regulations, and customer maintenance requirements.
• Experience maintaining a wide range of aircraft categories and classes.
• Bachelor’s degree (aviation-focused preferred).
