Job Description
LaSalle Network is hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist for a dynamic organization offering a hybrid work schedule—just two days a week onsite in downtown Chicago! This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to join a collaborative team, sharpen their AP skills, and contribute to a company that values accuracy, efficiency, and innovation.
You’ll work closely with the Operations and Finance teams to ensure smooth, on-time processing of invoices, payments, and vendor communications. This role is ideal for someone who’s eager to take ownership of systems and bring structure to a fast-moving environment.
Accounts Payable Specialist Responsibilities:
- Process corporate and client expenses through AP systems
- Receive, track, and manage all vendor invoices
- Verify appropriate approvals and GL coding accuracy
- Coordinate payments with the Finance team
- Handle vendor communication and resolve inquiries
- Maintain invoice records in Laserfiche
- Review and manage check requests for completeness
- Support 1099 issuance with the Operations team
- Document and improve AP policies and procedures
- Assist with ad hoc financial projects as needed
Accounts Payable Specialist Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance
- 2–4 years of AP experience in a fast-paced environment
- Strong Excel skills and sharp analytical mindset
- Detail-oriented and proactive with a hands-on approach
- Strong communicator with a collaborative spirit
- Eager to improve processes and enhance accuracy
