Description Are you an experienced Senior Accountant looking for a new challenge? Robert Half is partnering with a dynamic and growing client to fill a contract or contract-to-hire Senior Accountant position. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and self-driven accounting professional to contribute to a high-performing team within a well-respected organization. Key Responsibilities + Manage the month-end close process, including preparation of journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations to ensure accurate, timely financial reporting. + Analyze financial reports and data, identifying trends and variances to provide actionable insights to management. + Ensure compliance with GAAP and assist in the preparation of financial statements in collaboration with leadership. + Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions, providing support to the team as needed. + Reconcile intercompany transactions, bank statements, and balance sheet accounts. + Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and the development of internal controls. + Support ongoing audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries. + Collaborate across departments on special projects, process improvements, and ad hoc reporting requests. Requirements + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or related certification is a plus. + Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with 2+ years in a senior or supervisory role. + Proficient with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.). Experience with financial reporting software is preferred. + Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and regulatory compliance. + Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively across different teams.
