Job Description

Description The Senior Accountant should be meticulous and reliable with a strong understanding of accounting principles. They will have a problem-solving attitude with exceptional analytical thinking capabilities, aiming to streamline our accounting functions and operations, providing accurate financial information to the organization. · Oversee all the day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and bank reconciliations. · Manage and complete month-end close process accurately and timely. · Handle all aspects of cash applications including recording and tracking all payment transactions. · Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions by verifying, posting, and balancing entries in QuickBooks. · Process payroll, employee benefits, and related tax filings. · Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements and reports. · Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes. · Maintain records of business costs, such as labor and material. · Maintain complete and up-to-date filing system to support financial records. Requirements · Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred). · Proven experience as a full-charge bookkeeper. · Proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Office, particularly excellent in MS Excel. · Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). · Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
