Job Description

HCRC is currently seeking a qualified Security Specialist to be considered for full-time employment to support our government client at a location in Washington D.C.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Eligibility Determination: Assess the eligibility of personnel to access classified information and be assigned to sensitive duties.
  • Clearance Management: Ensure that personnel handling classified information or assigned to sensitive duties have appropriate clearances. Prepare, submit, and monitor requests for personnel security investigations.
  • Records Maintenance: Accurately record personnel security investigations, clearances, and accesses.
  • Nondisclosure Agreements: Ensure all personnel sign a Classified Information Nondisclosure Agreement (SF 312) before granting initial access to classified information.
  • Security Briefings: Conduct security briefings and debriefings for arriving and departing personnel.
  • Training: Develop and provide security training to security coordinators and staff.
  • Information Security: Safeguard classified information, including classification, declassification, safeguarding, transmission, and destruction.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Clearance Level: Must Have TOP SECRET security clearance based on a T5 (or equivalent level) investigation.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of security experience.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Administrative Skills: Strong written and oral communication skills with administrative support experience.
  • Knowledge of Security Systems: Familiarity with systems such as Trusted Associate Sponsorship System (TASS), Defense Information System for Security (DISS), Case Adjudication Tracking System (CATS), Joint Verification System (JVS), Secure Web Fingerprint Transmission (SWFT), Secure Web Fingerprint Transmission Plus Enrollment (SWFT+), and National Background Investigation Services (NBIS).

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $75,000 - $80,000.00 per year
