Job Title: Accounting ManagerJob Description We are seeking an experienced SEC and Month-End Close Reporting Contractor to provide critical support to the External Reporting team during a maternity leave coverage. This contractor will play a dual role in both external SEC filings and internal monthly close reporting processes. Responsibilities + Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K) + Contribute to drafting and reviewing footnote disclosures, MD&A, and supporting schedules + Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations + Support XBRL tagging and validation processes + Collaborate with internal departments, legal, and external auditors + Prepare quarterly earnings materials + Review supplementary earnings materials + Prepare and analyze monthly and quarterly close reporting packages for executive leadership + Perform variance analysis and commentary on year-over-year actuals + Consolidate data across business units and ensure timely delivery of internal reporting + Partner with FP&A and other finance teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of close data + Support ad-hoc reporting requests and process improvement initiatives Essential Skills + 5-7 years of relevant experience in SEC reporting and corporate accounting + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA + Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations + Prior experience with large public companies and Big 4 public accounting + Experience with Wdesk, SAP, and Excel (advanced functions) + Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills + Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and manage competing priorities Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA + 5-7 years of relevant experience in SEC reporting and corporate accounting + Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations + Prior experience with large public companies and Big 4 public accounting + Experience with Wdesk, SAP, and Excel (advanced functions) Work Environment This position is based in San Jose and follows a hybrid work model. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $80.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
