Job Description

Job Title: School Psychologist

Location: Columbia, SC 29223

Shift: Day 5x7.5-Hour (07:00 – 14:30)

Job Duration: 20 weeks

Job Description:  We are seeking a licensed School Psychologist to support K-12 students in a dynamic educational environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience and be licensed to practice in South Carolina. This role provides a mix of direct student support, assessments, and collaboration with educators and parents to promote student well-being and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results for K-12 students.

  • Provide counseling, interventions, and support to address social, emotional, and behavioral needs.

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior plans.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with district and state guidelines.

  • Support data-driven decision-making to enhance student outcomes.

  • Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school initiatives as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a School Psychologist.

  • Active South Carolina School Psychologist license.

  • Experience working with K-12 students.

  • Strong communication, assessment, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work in a collaborative, educational setting.

Schedule:

  • 37.5 hours/week, Monday – Friday, 07:00 – 14:30.

  • Primarily face-to-face, with possible hybrid schedule: 3 days on-site, 2 days remote.

Notes:

  • Candidates must be available to work the full schedule; partial virtual candidates or those unable to meet on-site requirements will not be considered.

  • School year: 20-week assignment through the end of the academic year.
